Congratulations on the receipt of the AAPS Distinguished Pharmaceutical
Scientist Award. This is a most deserved honor as you are one of the world's
most outstanding pharmaceutical scientists. I take great personal pride
in your accomplishments although I have only contributed in a very small
way to your enormously successful career. Although I have had scores of
postdoctoral fellows over the past twenty-five years, you will always stand
out as the best of the best.
