NIH Pharmacogenetics Research Network (PGRN), Riken and the Japanese Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (JSSX) invite you to attend the PGRN-Riken-JSSX Joint Workshop on Pharmacogenomics
in Drug Development.
The purpose of the workshop is to facilitate global interactions in pharmacogenomics
research, particularly as it relates to drug development. This symposium
is mainly focused on how to use the information of genetic polymorphisms
of several target molecules to determine the pharmacokinetics (metabolic
enzymes, transporters), pharmacodynamics and toxicological effects of drugs
and the incidence of diseases for the drug development.
We are very happy to invite some distinguished authorities in this field
from the universities in Japan and US, and Riken. It is evident that the
contents of this symposium should be very interesting for the researchers
in pharmaceutical companies, academia and regulatory authority and the
medical staffs. We really want you to share and discuss the frontier and
perspective of genome sciences with the speakers and audiences.
We will hold a banquet at Sanjo-Kaikan (very close to the Yasuda Auditorium) after workshop. Please join us to interact with the distinguished scientists and audiences.
To make a registration, please download a registration form (Word) then send completed one by e-mail to hseizai2@mol.f.u-tokyo.ac.jp or fax +81-3-5841-4766.
A deadline of the early-bird registration is extended by January 10, 2008. Please note that the registration fee will increase after January 11, 2008, so early registration is strongly recommended.
